Two things can cause this problem:
1. Version specified in the update() command differs from the version in the updated file (you have to know to what version you are updating before using the update() function)
2. The updated version and the installed version were signed with different certificates (both files have to be signed using the same certificate or you have to sign the new file with both the old and new certicate using the migrate parameter)
Thanks for the reply, but we have used same certificate and specified same version numbers. Another things i observed is, it is getting updated in the next day for some machines without any error. And for other machines there is no problem in updating. Please help me to overcome this problem.
Could you get an installation log and post here?
Where can i get the installation log?? I looked in the installed folder but not able to find such log file.
