    Disable AnnotRichMedia's built-in controls

Wondering if anyone had this issue before and was able to find a solution for it...

I'm working with an embedded video file (a AnnotRichMedia object, technically) and have successfully created buttons to start and stop it using JS code. However, the user is still able to start the video using the built-in Play button that appears on the video poster, even if I go to the video's Properties and set Controls to None.

Does anyone know of a method to disable these controls entirely or to set the video annotations as read-only, so it could only be started using the external buttons I've created?
