...Fireworks erroneously states that the image is already
open in another application--and it's not! This happens even when
fireworks is the only app. running.
What helps: quitting Fireworks and then restarting the
program; relaunching the Finder sometimes does the trick.
This is really annoying, especially when I am trying to
quickly edit an image for a project. I am simply opening a .jpg or
.gif from my Pictures folder through Fireworks
Any ideas as to how to prevent this from happening at all?
I have a Mac iBook, G3, OS 10.3.9
