I shot interval images over the course of a week. No matter how careful I was the camera twisted on the tripod plate so each day there's a "jump" in the sequence. Since the camera didn't move exactly side to side but rather in a slight arc it seems impossible to visually align then batch process. I know in PS I can overlay (difference mode) but I don't want the images overlaid-just sequentially aligned. I'll export to Premiere Pro to generate the video but I thought I'd process the images in LR first. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I should mention that there are 1400 images. I need to align 7 days worth or about 200 for each day to align with the previous and following days.
There's no way to do this in Lightroom, but have you thought of using AfterEffects to align the images? You can import an image sequence and then have a choice of stabilsation adjustments. Animation > Warp Stabliizer VFX did an amazing job on a timelapse movie which I'd shot in high winds.
Thanks, I'll check it out.
