I have two video clips, and I need to overlay one into the other. The trick is the box the second video clip needs to fit into is at an angle (effectively adding depth) because of this angle the clip does not fit into the box correctly and the edge of the clip needs to be tapered down so it fits nicely into the box. Below I have added a screen shot of something similar to the box the clip needs to fit into so you can get a better idea of what I am looking at. Effectively, the second clip will take up the green portion of the picture.. I am curious if this is something that After Effects is capable of doing?
Apply corner pin or if the shot is moving track and Mocha and do corner pin tracking. Can even use the built-in corner pin tracker.
Unless that green is in the original shot you're doing things that don't need to be done. Is absolutely no reason to insert a green panel into a shot to insert other video. It's a complete waste of time.
