    Table of Contents and Output

I have a general question on the TOC. It seems (from my experience) that when the TOC is completed when you generate word output you can choose the topics you want by adding and deleting and structuring the toc in the output. When you create a table of contents, Flash output uses the structure of the toc.

Can someone explain how the TOC works with outputs or where I could read how it works. I haven't been able to figure this one out.

Hi Mimi. I may be missing something from your question. If I do, do let me know
The project's TOC is structured by yourself as you create topics - although you can specify an alternate TOC in your window's advanced properties. This is the TOC used when you create all output formats except for printed documentation. When you generate printed documentation, the topics you print can be chosen based on your project's TOC. You simply add or remove the topics you want. Hope this helps.
