I just purchased a creative cloud license on using my hotmail account as a login but I can't seem to set up the applications. The login won't let me change my email from my other ID that I used to trial one of the softwares.
Log out of your Cloud account... Restart your computer... Log in to your paid Cloud account
-If you have more than one email, but sure you are using the one linked to your subscription
If the above doesn't work, you will need to uninstall and run the cleaner and install using your paid account

As you have learned, using two different Adobe IDs on the same is confusing
