I've been working on a simple rectangle, that goes from the top of the screen to the bottom. On top of that I've got an adjustment layer with the polar coordinates effect on it. I put rect to oval, 100%. Now normally this would make the rectangle a perfect circle that moves outwards from the center, correct? But mine is making ovals in stead of perfect circles. It did perfect circles fine an hour ago, but now, no matter what I do, I get ovals. Anyone know what's going on? It doesn't make sense to me.
Many thanks in advance.
Check the pixel aspect ratio of your composition. Unless you absolutely positively 100% exactly what you're doing you should always be working in square pixels.
That was it, I must have slipped with my mouse and not noticed that the aspect ratio changed. Thanks so much, I could have been going crazy for hours, I might need some sleep. Thank you.
