Sorry in advance for being a complete newb. I have some photoshop experience but I've been feeling around blindly in inDesign for this project. I'm trying to make some dog training logbooks for a class I'm taking, and the format for each daily page is basically the new task for the day, and then spaces for recently learned tasks that still need to be practiced.
So if day one looked like this:
Then day two would look like this:
I showed the blank version I'd made to our trainer, and she asked if I could put together pre-filled versions for each of her classes with the skills that class teaches. Obviously I can just copy and paste, but it seemed like the sort of thing InDesign might be able to handle automatically if I just knew what to google. Each task is in its own cell in a table. Basically I want to be able to say "fill this cell with the content from this other cell on the previous page". Is that something I can do?
Paste and link might work here, too.
