I have an wiggle expression that's very slow to run (because it evaluates every frame). It's on many layers and the comp is quite long.
So I've converted expression to keyframes. I was planning on running Smoother on the resulting keyframes. And then copy and pasting the first and last keyframe so it'll loop. This technique works fine on properties like Shape Replicators (in orange -- see attached image).
But it's completely obliterating all in-between keyframes when I try to run Smoohter on the scale property (Blue layers). Smoother is set to 0.1 in all cases
Any suggestions how to smooth values with a lower tolerance or how to loop a wiggle?
You can build your own wiggle with the built-in noise() or by combining multiple sine/ cosine functions just like you can use the .smooth() method in expressions.
