    Sound Levels

    jahajah
      how can a sound level be increased by using a variable? if the sound level was set to 3, could it be changed by a button, ie

      on mouseup me
      currentsound= _sound.soundLevel
      currentsound= +1
      end

      and this would put the volume number up to 4 (originally 3).

      Would this work??

      waiting for a response,
      Thank you

          Level 7
          You almost got it. Once you get the soundLevel, and increment it, you need
          to reassign it to _sound.soundLevel

          so:

          on mouseUp me
          currentSound = _sound.soundLevel
          currentSound = currentSound + 1
          _sound.soundLevel = currentSound
          end

          or simply:

          on mouseUp me
          _sound.soundLevel = _sound.soundLevel + 1
          end
