Insufficient disk space when creating DVD iso image

    thebryanfamily

I am using Premiere Elements 14.1.  I have encountered a very strange issue when trying to create an ISO image of a DVD disc, fitting contents to available space (space required is 4.35 GB at 5.12 Mbps bit rate).  I get the message "Insufficient disk space for burning", even though the disk I am using has over 1.5 TB of free space!  All of the Premiere Elements working folders are on this drive.  I have cleaned out all applicable Premiere Elements work folders prior to attempting to create the ISO image.

Here's the strange part . . . If I try to create an ISO image of a Blu-Ray disc, fitting contents to available space (space required is 18.87 GB at 20.19 Mbps bit rate), I do NOT get the error message.  I can create the Blu-Ray ISO image with no problem whatsoever!!!

I have tried rebooting numerous times.  I have completely uninstalled PE 14.1, rebooted and re-installed it, with the same results.

Does anyone have any ideas?  Has anyone else ever come across this?
