    Doesn't recognize DVD Burner

Running Premier Elements 13 on a Windows 8.1 system and it will start a DVD burn then tell me its been interrupted and stop.  What is the problem?  Is will also request the disk at startup at least 6 times before finally going away.  If this isn't a simple fix please someone recommend a new program for burning basic DVD's for church and family.  I am sooooo sick of this program.  Never has this issue will all previous issues of Premier Elements and I have been an avid user for at least 10 years.

Something is interfering with the program's interface with your burner -- which could be caused by a number of issues.

Meantime, here's the simplest, quickest workaround:

          1) Burn your DVD files to a folder on your hard drive using Publish & Share/Disc/DVD with the Burn to Folder option selected. Make sure this is a folder with no other files in it.

          2) Download the free program ImgBurn and use it to burn this folder to your DVD disc, per the free tutorial at my Premiere Elements support site, Muvipix.com:
