Never will be supported natively in LR 5. It's not even supported yet in LR 6/CC or the DNG converter. That camera came out what 2-3 weeks ago?
It should be supported in the next release of LR CC/6, ACR and the DNG converter. Which will all come out at the same time.
For now you'll need to use Fuji supplied RAW File Converter Powered by Silkypix. That is if Fuji included that piece of software or if you can download it from the Fuji support site.
Actually I was mistaken. LR 2015.4/6.4 and the DNG converter 9.4 does support the Fuji X-Pro2.
So you can use the DNG converter to get the X-Pro2 RAW files into LR 5.
Yup, Found that the CC and 6 support it now. so I guess Im diving in to the Creative Cloud. Get access to photoshop, and I don't want to buy 6 and run into this problem down the road. and adding another step before bringing raw files into lightroom would be ruff for my flow. I have jpegs and raw coming out of camera. Thanks for the info
Yeah for what it's worth the CC Photographers subscription isn't a bad deal if Adobe keeps the cost at the present $9.99 a month. If you are a Pro it's a No Brainer, just write it off.
To get both LR and PS at a cost of $120- a year is a deal when before I spent $79 on LR and IIRC close to $200 for the upgrade of the current versions of PS, and that wasn't even for the extended version, about every 18 months.
Best of luck to you.
