Can I trace the silhouette of a human figure in a stock photo I purchased and legally use it as part of a logo? The silhouette will be edited with blur marks and perspective warp.
Logos should be registered and unique for branding purposes. Therefore it is not allowed to use Stock images for logos or branding as they are of course available to anyone.

No. You need to have complete ownership of the image you use for your company logo, since logos are intended to be registered and protected to prevent other companies or organizations from using the same image.
