Can you please elaborate the steps to reproduce the issue? What version of InDesign are you currently working on and also the Operating system?
Also, Can you provide me the crash dump from your machine so that I can investigate further.
To create crash dump on Windows, when InDesign crashes, do not exit the application, instead go to Task Manager>InDesign>Right Click>Create Dump.
