Your text starts at the beginning of the book, no? Isn't that the page you expect to be numbered 1?
Yes that should be page number 1, exactly.
my script in the other thread would not work for you then.
Using my script for renumbering the pages of a RTL document would change the numbering to that.
And the numbering of facing pages would be dead wrong. From left to right it should be 3,2 etc.
I think, it's a misconception, that an RTL document is using a page number system in descending order!
The right thing would be to change the contents of every page in you RTL document.
Move the contents of your page 36 to page 1, the contents of your page 35 to page 2 etc.pp.
In your screen shot above, is the page numbered 36 the beginning or end of your book?
The page written 36 should be the 1st page of the book. This is the logic of a ME language book. (Hebrew, arabic,...)
So it looks like you've done something wrong in the document setup.
I would start a new file, with binding set right-to-left, and copy the text and paste into new frames starting on page 1.
There is another topic I started here: https://forums.adobe.com/message/8596550#expires_in=86399992&token_type=bearer&access_toke n=eyJhbGciOiJSUzI1NiIsIng1dSI6…
But it is still not solved, I keep looking forward for a solution and will keep people informed on this post.
