I would really like to see a tool similar to the "Add Anchor Points" tool in Illustrator, but potentially with a few more features.
Along with the normal "Add Anchor Points" feature, It would be really nice to be able to select 2 anchor points, use "Add Anchor Points" and choose how many anchor points to add between the two selected points, equally spaced out. This could also work with selecting more than 2 anchor points, or an entire shape.
You should be able to add anchor points using XD's Select tool. Just double-click on the path to enter path editing mode, and then click on the path where you want to add an anchor point.
For your other feature requests, please do a search or add a suggestion in UserVoice, which is the tool we're using for feature requests: Adobe XD: Feature Requests: Top (218 ideas) – Adobe XD Feedback : Feature Requests & Bugs
jbowden I think you may have misunderstood the request. There is a specific tool in Adobe Illustrator called "Add Anchor Points", which will add an anchor point equidistant to other anchor points on a shape. My request was to incorporate this feature into Adobe XD, but expand upon its feature set with additional features that would be useful.
