are all pages ok if you export to PDF?
What exact version of InDesign are you using?
What OS version?
What kind of graphic is placed?
A complex Adobe Illustrator ai file perhaps?
Note: In an older version of InDesign I once had problems with deeper nested anchored graphics in table text cells of a header row.
An image, that was pasted inside a graphic frame, that itself was pasted inside a graphic frame, that was anchored to a text cell wasn't visible on following pages. The table span about ten pages…
Pages are not ok when I export to pdf. I'm using the latest version of Indesign CC on Windows 7 64bit and I'm placing a simple .ai line drawing with a square and 1 line on top of the square.
Hm, I'd like to test that with my Mac OSX version.
Can you show a screenshot of the page where the table starts?
With frame edges and invisible characters showing?
I seem to have stumbled on a workaround. I copy and pasted the table next to itself, deleted the original and replaced with the copy. It's now printing properly.
I neglected to mention that I'm using the Wordsflow plugin from Em software to link to an excel file so that also might be adding in some weirdness.
did you discuss the issue with the makers of Wordsflow?
I'd send a mail to support there.
Yes - I sent them a support request last night. I'll post what I hear back from them.
Got a response back - seems to be an indesign bug. Here's the response from Em Software:
This seems to be an InDesign bug, and not related to WordsFlow. I can create a table manually, not using WordsFlow at all, and graphic cells in the header row do not print when the header row repeats.
However, images inserted into cells as in-line objects do work properly. So, perhaps you could use this as a workaround?
I tested images in graphic cells in a header row.
And they are repeated on the next page or the next frame as they should.
InDesign CC 2015.3 OSX 10.10.3
Does Em Software shows a reference document where this issue will happen?
Or any other specifics?
I reproduced the error without wordsflow as well. Here's the document I created (it's a zipped package of the document):
The images repeat in indesign, but when I export to pdf or print, they do not appear.
