Hello, I have an issue with rendering a 3D text layer. The video is only 8 seconds long, and it only renders the background (which is just a black solid) and not the 3D text. Then I get an error message saying "Ray-traced 3D: Out of paged mapped memory for ray tracer. Your project may exceed GPU limits. Try closing other applications. Try updaying the CUDA driver ". I have updated my CUDA drive, closed other applications, and still it is not rendering the 3D text. I have the same issue when I put it in AME. it doesn't recognise the 3D text. I have an iMac 21.5 inch with 16GB RAM and a 1TB fusion drive. I have included a screen shot of the composition I'm trying to render. Can someone help?
What are your system specs? For example, what GPU do you have?
You should NOT have a CUDA driver installed on your system! CUDA drivers are for NVIDIA GPUs. Having a CUDA driver on a system without an NVIDIA card is just going to cause weird issues.
Since you don't have an NVIDIA GPU, you can't accelerate the ray-traced renderer. It should render once the CUDA driver is removed, but the ray-traced renderer is considered obsolete anyway. I would suggest you use the new, more powerful tool at your disposal: CINEMA 4D comess free with After Effects CC! It will likely render faster too.
