Can anyone tell me if the quality of the graphic card has any connection to the quality of the final exported video? For example, at the time that the video is being encoded and exported via Adobe media encoder does the graphic card affect the frame by frame rendering, encoding and export of the finished video. I know that the card affects the speed of this process, but does it affect the overall quality, clarity, color depth, of the final exported video in any way?
The GPU acceleration handles the scaling, interpolation, and some FX. The decoding/encoding is handled by the CPU. The selection of the GPU does not change the quality of the GPU acceleration or the quality of encoding. The GPU only changes the performance of the render/export.
