If you need it removed from just one page, you can Shift-Option Click (mac) on the text box to release it; then you can delete it and edit it. Or you could create a new master page without it.
If you need to make the change on all pages, go to the master page and edit it there.
Shift - Option -Click means hold down the Shift and Option keys while you click the mouse on the frame to release if from the master, but I sense what you want is really to remove the section marker prefix from the master page altogether, and how you would do that depends on if it's really a section marker, or if it's a section prefix (note the two fields in the screen shot of the numbering and sections dialog):
The section prefix is added or removed by checking/unchecking the box to include it when numbering pages, or by clearing the field. A Section marker is a special character, like the current page number marker, and will be in a text frame on the master page. It should appear there as the word "Section" and you can delete it there.
Thank you responding.
Firstly the problem being I do not have a key called "Option" on my keyboard?
I need to remove the wording above "January Newsletter 2013" and keep the page number on the right.
What I did next was a guess but it seems to have worked.
Sharing if it helps others.
Selected (double click) A Master and it brought up a page above with the "January Newsletter 2013" at the right selected the box and pressed delete and it was removed.
Then when I selected original template again it only shows the number
In Windows the Alt key = Option key on a Macintosh.
