Are you working with an AS3 or Canvas document? Either way, there's a tween library that you should be using instead of your current approach.
Thank you for this solution.
Unfortunately I´m not good in code-writing and so I have to stick on the code provided by adobe animate cc.
Are there more code examples for animate cc? I am working with a Canvas document. And, no, I haven´t found anything in google.
Could anyone give some code for a delayed fading-in-symbol here?
Thank you in advance.
Well that's a defeatist attitude right there. Nobody starts out good at coding. You just have to dig in and learn it in this line of work.
That being said, here's how to do what you want to do:
Breaking it down:
- get() tells the tween library which object to tween.
- wait() just waits for the requested number of milliseconds
- to() provides a list of properties to tween, how long the tween should take, and an optional easing formula
You can chain together as many of these operations as you want and it will execute them in sequential order. You can even call functions. All of this is explained in more detail in my previously posted link.
