LOL, I'm sure that makes perfect sense to you.

But for the rest of us, we will need more information.

RoboHelp 10. Got it

WebHelp. Got it

What is meant when you say End? Where are you seeing these characters? In the source files or the output files? Or both?

Is this content that was created by typing into the RoboHelp editor? Or was it imported from elsewhere? If imported, what was it imported from?

Cheers... Rick

The End quotation mark (see example) the source and html look OK.  The Output file has the strange characters.

We are updating an existing Robohelp project.  I believe the last compile was in Robohelp 8 and we are using Robohelp 10.

It may be due to the Font Type - Verdana and how HTML handles it.

If the content originated in Microsoft Word and was imported or copied and pasted, it's likely that Word was using that "Smart Quotes" feature and the browser isn't understanding the characters.

It is just odd that Robohelp 8 handled it ok and the same project file in Robohelp 10 displays the odd characters.

I thought you said that only the WebHelp output was presenting the oddness and that things were okay in RoboHelp?
