If the disc will play on your computer but not on your DVD player, there's not much you can do. Some DVD players don't like home-burned DVDs as much as others.
You can increase the odds of a playable DVD by using ImgBurn to burn your disc rather than burning directly to a disc. ImgBurn verifies the burn afterward -- which still can't guarantee that it will play on every player, but it gives you your best shot.
To use ImgBurn:
1) Use Export & Share/Disc/DVD but select the option to burn an ISO file to your hard drive.
2) Download and use ImgBurn to create a disc from this ISO.
