I've found no tutorial across Google that explains this, so I'm wanting to know if it's possible in AE.
I have a text animation built in a composition where one letter will appear at a time, as if it is being typed (this is done with a simple Typewriter Effect). Is it possible to take an audio file of a typing sound effect (such as a keyboard click), and sync it so that every time a new letter pops up in the animation, the sound is played? If not, is there another way to have a sound play every time a new letter appears in an AE text animation? Perhaps by writing an expression?
After a while of learning from the page you sent me to, I finally got it down pat. The expression/marker combination is perfect for this. Thank you.
By any chance, is there an expression out there that can trigger a marker to be placed whenever a letter is typed, as opposed to manually setting markers at the correct times? It would save me boatloads of time, especially in cases where several sentences or even paragraphs are being typed. I've been looking for one since you gave your solution and I haven't happened upon one.
