Hi there, yesterday, I bought a subscription of all the Adobe applications, everything seems to be working fine except for After Effects. Every time I load AE up, I am prompted with the Disk Cache error message. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but unfortunately this doesn't work. I then changed the preferences of the disk cache, e.g. 'Maximum Disk Cache Size' and I also changed the folder to my external hard drive as there is more available space. I also cannot empty the disk cache as I haven't used the programme yet. Is there somebody that could help me because this programme is vital for my studies! I have included some screenshots and as you can see, when I try to create something new, nothing is highlighted. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Is it an error or just a warning? You can ignore if it is a warning message. After Effects typically warns if you have set the disk cache size to more than 80% of the available space on your drive. Set the disk cache size to 80% or less of the free space available on your drive to resolve the issue.
