    WEBSITE CONTRIBUTE FILES

    sonshik
When a website is defined as a Contribute website, are there certain files that are created with the users/administrator's info?
If so, where are they stored? In the site root folder?

I want to delete the site contribute settings and start all over. How do I do it without administrator access?

      Thanks.

I have a similar problem. An administrator who left the organization, set up our site with an older version of Contribute. They have it password protected. I want to remove Contribute administration and then set it up again with Contribute 3 and a new password. I will then have to re-establish the user roles again for those using the older versions of Contribute.

the files ar kept in a a folder in the root directory called _mm. These are hidden through Macromedia, oops sorry, Adobe Dreamweaver etc. but can be seen if you browse the directory directly or use another ftp program.

The file is cthub. You may be able to fix your problems by editing these files (XML?) in a tedxt editor.
