    Tracking clicks in banner ads generated from Adobe Animate CC

      Hi, I have been having problems with some ads I have created in Adobe Animate. The banners is a HTML5 canvas and contain a simple animation, and a button that leads to my customers site. The banners are placed by an iframe on a wordpress-site. My ad-system on the page (AdRotate) tracks impressions by Google Analystics, but not clicks. I talked to them and they told me that this is because the link is within the banner itself, and not in the code placing the banner. So here comes the question: How can i track the clicks in an HTML5-banner made in AA, using Google Analytics?

      There have to be a solution to this? I have customers waiting for their results and no results to give... I really hope i don't have to go back to only using .gifs as banners on my page, I just love the way to make banners in AA.

      I have red quite a bit online, and found the code

      _gaq.push([‘_trackEvent’, ‘button’, ‘clicked’]);

      but where do I put the code, and do I need to paste the whole tracking-code for GA in my banner-code as well? help-help-help!
