I am considering buying premiere elements and possibly photoshop elements as well, but I would use them on different computers. I also need them on a laptop. So, I would only be installing elements on 2 computers and premiere on 2 computers, but they would not be the same 2 computers. Also, where do I find upgrade pricing?
Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements are different programs. They don't keep track of each other. Each will allow you to install on two computers. I would ignore update pricing and buy the combo pack in a box with discs because you get both Apple and Widows versions.
Disclaimer: I don't work for Adobe so I could be wrong!
Whsprague is correct. Adobe's "upgrade" is just a marketing tool. You can usually find the regular version at a big box retailer or authorized online reseller for less that Adobe's upgrade pricing.
You can install each license of PSE or Pre El on as many computers as you want, but can only be signed in on two at a time, and only use one at a time.
