Give it a try and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised :-). Just visit the link on your mobile device. You should find that a) the header and footer are combined on mobile and b) after a tap, the combined header goes away.
If this is not what you were looking for, please elaborate.
We know about this issue and we have tried (unsucessfully so far) to have iOS not display that header. We'll be continuing to look for workarounds on this.
Ah, yes, I see from your followup picture and text that you're referring to including the components (e.g. the part that shows "Carrier" in your image) as part of your design itself. I believe that the intent is that you would *not* include that in the design.
We have an item in our backlog to add the "device chrome" when viewed from the web (e.g. on the desktop. It would not be shown, as it is not now, when you viewed the shared prototype on your mobile device).
The header that Mark is referring to is the address bar, etc (containing "xd.adobe.com") from the device browser, and apparently there is an issue with making that hide on iOS (on my Android phone the prototype goes full-screen).
crystal cleat, thank you
yes it seems an issue
have a great day
Not sure if this has been implemented but I too would love control over this.
While previewing, the addition of browser components (and the way they minimise on scroll etc) changes everything - viewing and interacting with the design without them is a bit of a fantasy.

Ben (and others) -- there are two options for viewing your design fullscreen on a mobile device:
- Use the new XD mobile app to preview on-device (on Android or iOS). This gives you a 100% full screen view, hiding even the OS status bar at the very top.
- Visit your shared prototype on the web, then add this page to your phone homescreen (instructions for Android or iOS). This hides the browser chrome but I don't think it hides the OS status bar.
I'm not sure if it's technically possible to do fullscreen any better for web-shared prototypes, but if you'd like us to look into that further please add your vote to: Full screen prototype view on mobile devices (hide browser chrome) – Adobe XD Feedback.
Hope that helps!
Hi there! Has the option to view a prototype in fullscreen by adding it to the home screen, been removed in a recent update? I'm no longer able to get it working on my iPhone. It has been our preferred way of prototyping ever since we started using XD. (I also really miss the ability to add a custom home screen icon)
