I think the reason it behaves that way is that when you're recording we expect a user to be demoing the flow through an individual application on a single device where the screen sizes are all the same. If you have a different use case that's important to you, please go here to submit a feature request with details on your use case: Adobe XD: Feature Requests: Top (420 ideas) – Adobe XD Feedback : Feature Requests & Bugs
Hope this helps,
Thanks for your answer.
I am looking to have a fixe 667px high device but scrolling in my artboard that could be with a longer high.
I think it's this same topic that people request on this page: Scrollable Area – Adobe XD Feedback : Feature Requests & Bugs
So I voted for it. How long time could it take for you to develop this feature?
That feature request is about scrolling within an artboard. For example, if you want to demonstrate having a list with many items you need to scroll to get to. That feature is already being looked into and we'll start rolling it out incrementally as it gets completed. I can't give any estimates about timelines on things. But I think your request is actually for something different. The ability to scroll the preview to see a larger artboard. AFAIK that hasn't been requested yet, but you could go ahead and add it yourself.
