I have this weird issue.
I have the 4k edited footage in Premiere that I want to import to After Effects and continue tweaking (I have a lot of shots on green screen).
Some year ago I remember it was easy to do it. It was just copy in Premiere and Paste in After Effects.
This is not working anymore.
OK so I tried to import this premiere project directly in after effects and what I get is one single layer.
Now this is a massive problem for me because I wanted to prepare all the shots with all the different retouches and what I got is just one single layer.
Besides that my comp size in Premiere is HD, because the final output will be HD, but if I want to Key the footage I need to access my 4k material...
I just can't do the editing again in after effects, it would take me more than 3 days, and I don't have it.
Can someone please help?
If you want to import it, you can't do File>Import. You have to choose the specific Import Premiere Pro Project command.
Copying and pasting should still work. But if you don't have them both at matching versions it might not work. What are the exact version numbers of each one you're trying to use?
Thanks Szalam, it works!
You are the man!
