Hi fernandofavela ,
There is no activation server for Lightroom Standalone versions.
Simply uninstall it from your computer.
If using Lightroom 6 .Sign out from Help menu before uninstalling..See Learn to activate or deactivate Adobe applications
I`ll try it.
I've just tried to install my standalone LR CC 6 onto my laptop, and it's telling me that I can't due to maximum activations.
The only other machine I have it installed on is my workstation, BUT, I just had to rebuild it due to a HDD failure. As a result, I can't "just log out" for the reinstallation.
How do I proceed from here? I need it running on my laptop for on-set shooting.
Quote from Victoria Bampton Blog-
You can have 2 machines activated at a time. If you try to log in on a 3rd machine, it asks if you want to deactivate the other machines remotely, so you don’t have to remember to deactivate or go through a nightmare phone procedure to unlock it.
So- Activate on the Laptop , answer 'yes' to deactivate other machines, then re-activate the desktop. (Now two machines are activated)
I am assuming this procedure still works! Please reply and confirm if it does for you, thanks.
Contact Adobe’s one-to-one chat support at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6, as they'll need to reset the activation for you, since you didn't sign out on the '3rd' machine at some time in the past. It's slightly different to the CC version, which allows you to manage activations yourself.
