CC is the worst software ever. All of Adobe answers to this problem are rubbish. You have to go into activity monitor and force quit all the adobegcc client and anything else that you see Adobe hogging the CPU. After that CPU will go back to normal but now you cant use any of CC software. Thus the only solution is to get rid of Adobe CC software.
Yes Adobe I turned off file sync and auto load of Creative Cloud and all your other lame solutions suggested in all the different blogs about this issue. Pretty much you have to get rid of all Creative Cloud functionality to get the CPU from not running at 100% for no reason.
I have paid for subscription and cant use it because of this memory leak, or whatever that Adobe forces on everyone and then pretends it is some user error with sync etc.
At the moment I am removing all Adobe CC software. Even after that CC rubbish still tries to run. Try to uninstall CC good luck with that, as it will tell you cant remove as CC software is still running.
I have been Adobe user since Photoshop 1.0, yes twenty five years ago. The Creative Cloud is the worst software experience of my life. I will now move to other software. Adobe you have Abandoned your clients to force crap on them they don't need and then don't provide real fixes when there are major issues with your new software.
Only thing worse than the software is the "support"
I AM HAVING THE SAME CPU USAGE PROBLEM.
every MORNING I SEE MY RESOURCE MONITOR THAT ADOBE GC CLIEN EXE IS USING 100% CPU. HOW TO I FIX THIS SITUATION. I SE THERE ARE WEB SITES SELLING SOFTWARE TO DISABLE THIS PROBLEM. ANY SOLUTIONS. THANK YOU.
