I am working on a project and I have a transparent png image given to me for the project. It's the logo of the company.
I have applied a CC Light Ray to the logo and animated this affect. Everything looks great except when the CC Light Ray affect is in motion it forms a box on the outer edge of the logo. I've been guessing with different techniques on how I can make this box disappear when the affect happens but I just haven't been able to figure it out. I thought about using a mask but wasn't exactly sure how to make that work for this situation.. I added a picture of the settings. You can see the box edges that form with the CC Light Ray affect..
Either use the Grow Bounds effect before the light effect or precompose your layer into a composition the same size as your main one before you apply the light effect.
Well sir your experience makes you a genius!
Grow Bounds worked perfectly. I appreciate it... I had to finish this project up today and this was one of the final touches.
