This was acknowledged a year ago by an Adobe Employee but will probably never be fixed If Adobe's history is any indication. Another post on this topic has the following statement. It is just a guideline but I agree Adobe shouldn't be placing these files in the documents folder. This is an annoying bug/glitch that could be EASILY fixed by changing the folder location in the code.

There are many relinks to other Threads but I can't find a comment from Adobe.
So whatever. Adobe, please fix it. You are not allowed to fiddle around in my documents folder. It is my place. Not yours. You are a visitor on my Mac. So please use a correct behaviour.
Is this the Adobe Forum where employees read the posts? Or was it an other forum? Or how can I contact Adobe employees?
I agree that this is very annoying, it also happens on an install of Media Encoder. Starting ME for the first time adds two additional folders, Lumetri and Premiere Pro.
Thanks to Bob for providing the Apple's guidance - hopefully someone at Adobe is reading this??? I am not confident in that, considering that ColtRider's initial post was almost a year ago.
