Now, how can i update the camera raw …
When you update Lightroomto 6.5 than the Camera Raw 9.5 compatibility is updated automatically in Lightroom.
Thanks for your time.
I just did and worked, thanks. Now I am at Lightroom 6.5.
BUT ....... i still can not use the DEHAZE and BOUNDARY WARP functions ....I think that they are not included in the standalone version.
The non-CC version of LR (i.e. 6.x) has the same features as LR 6.0. Only with the CC subscription do you get new features as they are available. LR 6 users would get new features with LR 7 just like it used to be, assuming there will be a LR 7.
Dear Ssprengel, thanks for you time and answer. I guess that you finally have provided the correct answer to mine questions.
In mine opinion, when you BUY a license you should be entitled to receive its updates. And including its between version releases / new features.
Right or wrong, this kind of information should be clearly avaiable to the customers BEFORE buying for its new release (i.e. when marketing the new LR7) and ALSO avaiable in its Corporate Internet Site.
For me, they still are not clearly addressed. Adobe just ignore the old users that still have the product licenses standalone.
The ADOBE helpdesk ALSO does not know this kind of information, for instance, they said that i should have the BOUNDARY WARP ... and i guess they were wrong ...
I was a happy Aperture user and even happier when forced to move to Lightroom.
Unfortunately, the latest experiences are not satisfactory with ADOBE (when i had serious issues to upgrade to the 6.2 version and when i discovered this kind o procedures to non CC users).
This kind of maneuvers in order to force the users to the CC are not welcome and will probably force me to search for new options in the near future.
