Hm... That is indeed bizarre, as you should have access to sliding page transitions. What versions of XD and OSX are you using? Could you send us your assets/file for us to take a look?
Thanks for the reply -
XD Version 0.5.0.4 Beta
OSX El Capitan 10.11.3 (15D21)
I'll send over the file as well - thanks!
I just realized the segues are working completely fine in the sample file that is included. Perhaps I was having trouble initially because in my working file, I copied and pasted a few random pictures in from InDesign and Illustrator... I will try to see if I can rebuild the file and find the problem -
update - Segues worked fine in the sample file that is included - until I changed the artboard size or pasted in an image - either of those actions caused sliding page transitions to stop working - but just on the artboard where changes were applied.
Also, when I use the share online tool, the page transitions work! So even though I'm not seeing them in the Preview mode, this isn't a big problem.

My guess is that your artboards are different sizes (possibly you resized them vertically). Currently, when you transition between artboards of different sizes, we always use a crossfade transition in the Preview window to avoid glitches (e.g. if you were to do a slide between a phone and a tablet-sized artboard, it would look odd). Part of the issue is also that if you make a longer artboard, we scale it in the Preview window, so the widths no longer match. We're planning to improve support for these kinds of use cases in the future.
