I was using a trial of Adobe Acrobat at my company that allowed me to copy text from the document. I had my company purchase this for me and now I CAN’T copy text. When I try and edit the document, I can only copy the entire thing as an image. HELP! I have ADOBE ACROBAT STANDARD DC
That's because the file you're editing is only composed out of images (most likely the result of a scan). You would need to first run Text Recognition on it to be able to copy the text as such.
I called my IT department.
Actually, I had Standard and not Pro, that's why it wasn't working. I got the correct version and now I'm able to copy and paste text from the scanned PDF file.
