Here's a shot in the dark -- update your AE CS6 to version 11.0.4. Depending on your operating system -- which we have NO CLUE about -- it ought to do the trick.
We have seen exactly the same thing - All Adobe apps work except AE, doesn't even get out of the gate, a quick bounce then stops loading, no crashlogs are written because it doesn't even get that far. Adobe support logged in an couldn't fix it, they suggested compete clean with creative cleaner tool, which we did, uninstalled and re-installed, tried from another user.
