To solve the problem in Windows Explorer, you need to change the file association in Windows for the .indd extension. Not being a Windows user, I'll leave that to others to explain
However, Bridge sets its file associations in Bridge Preferences > File Type Associations.
Windows is able to use the icon.dll file that is installed with ID to display version-specific icons for your files (which is not available on Mac). Changing the file association through the OS will work, but it will not use the version-appropriate icons, which may or may not be a factor for you. If you want the correct icons, uninstall and reinstall ID because a failure to use the .dll file indicates an install error.

I would recommend you to get this latest Update, it will be showing in your Creative Cloud Desktop Application. Try this and let me know if you are able to resolve the issue...
