I've also tried several of the .ai to .eps converters, and they all failed, so I suspect there is something embedded in the file to keep that from working?
Yes, there are four checkboxes next to the search boxes. Photos, Illustrations, Vectors and Video. Uncheck Vectors if you don't want .ai files.
I'm with the OP on this.
In my case I do want to download vectors, just not in AI format.
Unchecking Vectors is not the solution to this problem. A solution would be allowing those of us who have paid a subscription the ability to download EPS files, just like we were able to with the Dollar Photo Club.
Just to reiterate, I do not have Adobe Illustrator, I do not wish to buy Adobe Illustrator and I have yet to come across an alternative for Adobe Illustrator which can convert AI to EPS files. Surely there must be someone here who understands the issue and is able to offer some help.
