    Swf Zoom

I want to load an externa SWF into my flex application and some zoom controls. I do this now by setting the scale property of the component containing the SWF. Problem is that I very soon reach the swf size limits (2880px), although the component is only 400x400px. How to avoid this?

How bout using a transformation matrix and just zooming part of it, since
you can't look at the whole thing when it is zoomed anyway?

That's exactly what I need. I only need to show a small part of the zoomed image (size of the component). Can you be more specific on the 'transformation matrix' you propose. Any example or link to documentation?

            thanks a lot,

I typed "Flex 3 LiveDocs Matrix" into the address bar of my browser and
found a lot of useful links. You might want to give it a whirl.
