I don't believe Ctrl+1 to zoom 100% has ever worked in acr.
You can however use Ctrl+Alt+0 to zoom to 100%

Ctrl-1 works in Photoshop. Could have sworn it worked in ACR too, but my memory's not what it once was.
If it helps.. Double clicking the Zoom Tool will show image at 100% while double clicking the hand tool fits it back on screen.
Holding down the H key and click and hold will give you a birds-eye view with a rectangle on the image (if you are zoomed in).
Move the rectangle to where you would like to zoom back into and release H
I personally like keyboard shortcuts, because they are much quicker for me than using a mouse, but I'm sure these tips will come in useful at some stage, especially the second one, which is a new one on me.
