When I select a file and click the Export PDF button, my default browser opens to a page that says : "Don’t retype it. Easily convert it to Microsoft Word. (etc., etc.)" with a comparison of the Export PDF products available.
I purchased an annual subscription and somehow managed to export one file previously, and when I tried again earlier this week, this happened, and it is still happening.
Open Acrobat DC
Open file I wish to export
View > Tools > Export PDF > Open
+ Add files to export (added files)
Convert to > Microsoft Excel Document (*.xlsx)
Click "Export to Excel"
At this point I get the page mentioned above: "Don’t retype it. Easily convert it to Microsoft Word. (etc., etc.)" with a comparison of the Export PDF products available.
Log in to my Adobe account in Reader DC (again, because I think I was already logged in)
Log in to my Adobe account in my default browser (again, because I was already logged in, I think)
Clicked Export to Excel again.
Is this not the correct procedure?
Thanks in advance.
This issue still exists when I attempt to export PDF to Excel from within Acrobat DC, but I found that I can export from the browser - after I logged out of my Adobe account in Microsoft Edge and then logged back in.
Please provide guidance on the issue that I am seeing in Acrobat Reader DC.
I have resolved this issue.
Some months ago I created an Document Cloud account using one email address, and I was still logged in to DC with that email address when I subscribed to the PDF Export product, using a different email address.
In Acrobat Reader, I logged out of DC and logged back in using the same email address that I used when I subscribed to the PDF Export product. Now I can export without problems.
To log out:
In the upper right corner of Adobe Reader DC, I clicked on my name and clicked Sign Out.
