Version of InDesign? Operating system?
I don't know what you mean by a "hyperlink box". Do you mean a visible rectangle that appears around the hyperlink?
See the illustration below. The rectangle above have a visible rectangle selected. The one below is the same but has no visible rectangle.
To create that, set the properties in the Hyperlinks panel. Select the hyperlink and choose Edit Hyperlink (or create the properties when you create the hyperlink. Notice in the Edit Hyperlink dialog, in the PDF appearance section, Visible Rectangle is turned on or turned off.
Sorry...should have been more specific...there are no hyperlink panels...it is there in the first file I did but absent in all the rest...there is just nothing to click on...thanks!
You got me thinking...so I went into the settings for book, advanced setting etc and for some reason the only one that had a hyperlink was the typography which is the only one I didn't check ha ha! I'll just change it to topography in each file to set the hyperlink at the top of the page...thanks for making me think outside the box...I'm very new to indesign and have a lot to learn although I do my best to try and figure it out myself first...thanks...have a great day!
