Has the program ever worked for you -- even on a different operating system?
Have you reinstalled the program since upgraded to or installing Windows 10?
Yes the program worked fine since first installing when I purchased it. I did try reinstalling it yesterday and still have the same problem.
I have not downloaded Windows 10. My computer person ( that works on my computer) hasn't done it yet.
It's possible a Windows 8 update has broken something.
Try holding down the Shift+Alt+Ctrl buttons on the left side of your keyboard as the program starts. You should get an indicator that a program is trying to change something on your computer. Okay that. Any corruptions in the program should be removed.
Also, manually go to Windows Update and ensure you have all of the latest updates , including the non-critical updates that don't install automatically. And go to the nVidia or ATI web site and ensure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card. You'd be surprised how often this fixes things.
I have tried doing everything you suggested. So far I have had no luck. Not sure I have checked out the drivers the right way, my computer guy is coming tomorrow (I hope) and I'll get him to look at what you have suggested. Any other thoughts?
