I've had the InDesign software since 2012. I bought a creative cloud subscription in September for a class and I recently cancelled it. When I go to launch my InDesign CS6 application, it automatically quits and takes me to the Adobe Applications Manager where it tells me I need to renew my creative cloud subscription (which I don't want to do). I have used the Adobe customer support chat with two different technical department representatives and neither one could tell me what was wrong or how to fix it, so they told me to go here.
If you have not deactivated CS6 befoe your CC subscription it has captured your licence. You need to uninstall everything Adobe, download the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool from Adobe web site, clean out everything Adobe. Now install your CS6 from the original disk you have got when you purchased CS6 on the first place and activate it. If your activation fails now, you have to contact Adobe's customer support, declare them that you have not installed CS6 on any other computer and they will reset your activation.
When I uninstall all the Adobe software and use the Creative Cloud Cleaner will that also erase all of the Adobe files I have saved on my computer?
Also, I don't have the original disks anymore. Is there any way to fix this problem with out them?
