I have purchased a new camera, Canon 760D But I cannot open the Raw files in Photoshop Elements 12 anymore. It says that it is not supported.
I have Windows 7
I had a look to see what version I am using. it is Camera Raw 8.5
I tried to find information on this but it was all gobbeldy **** to me.
Any help would be great
You need to be able to use camera raw 9.1 to have full support for that camera. You would have to upgrade to Photoshop Elements 14 in order to have access to the camera raw that you need. Your alternative would be to download the latest DNG converter and create DNG copies of your raw files that you can use with what you have now.
I was looking to upgrade to PSE 14 anyway, but as it turns out I am on a yearly plan for Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC.
Thanks for the reply
If you are on the yearly plan with Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC, you should have full support for your camera if both applications are up to date. You shouldn't need Photoshop Elements.
